Hedström & Pflug return to Room Trax for their second EP on the label, this time with a sonically more ‘corpulent’ proposal, without leaving behind the minimalism and sensuality that characterises the pair’s output. For this “Paradoxon” EP, Room Trax welcomes Joton, a mainstay of the Spanish Techno scene and a true connoisseur of the genre.

First up, the bleepy and atmospheric “Paradoxon” is a broken beat piece that’s perfect for setting moods on the dancefloor.

Right after, find “Light Attraction” with heavy kicks, a provocative female voice and modular sounds that make it an excellent tension builder.

Rounding up the original cuts, “Lack Of Focus” is a driving, sexy hypnotic groovy track with a sinister vibe to it.

On remix duties, Joton puts his skilled touch on “Lack Of Focus” to deliver an edit that maintains the original vibe, but takes it to ‘heavier’ dimensions with the unmistakable sound and percussions from the Newrhythmic label head.
